University of Minnesota: Pre-Dissertation Fellowships

William W. Stout and Thomas F. Wallace Fellowship

Eligibility: For graduate students in the humanities or social sciences who are in the intermediate years of the PhD (i.e., normally students currently in their second or third year of graduate study).

Award: Stipend: $16,000 for the academic year, plus tuition and health insurance. (2005-06)

Deadline: December 1st. (Department pre-deadline will be around November 1st.)

For graduate students in the humanities or social sciences who are in the intermediate years of the PhD (i.e., normally students currently in their second or third year of graduate study). Relevant graduate programs that offer the PhD may nominate one student. Up to two awards. Stipend: $16,000 for the academic year, plus tuition.
